"I brush it myself..." (originally posted on 12/19/07)

Last Sunday morning, we were almost ready for church and Nora was looking very cute in her brown velvet dress. She left our bedroom and then returned about 3 minutes later looking a little different. Her hair, which had been brushed and dry just a few minutes prior, was now wet and slightly sticky. I could hear the big kids laughing in the background, so I asked Nora, "what happened to your hair?". She said, "I brush it myself." That would be a great accomplishment if she hadn't used the toothbrush and toothpaste on her hair. We 'washed' it out as best we could and headed out the door to church. Needless to say, her hair stayed in place for most of the day!
