I don't know if that's what the eco-friendly 'green conservationists' are called nowadays, but when I was in college we called them Green Peace/Tree Huggers. I think we have a future tree hugger or granola girl in our house (not that there's anything wrong with that). Avery came home from school the other day upset about having a bad lunch time. I thought maybe she didn't get to sit with a friend or her sandwich got warm. She said, "Remember the Lunchables box I picked out at the store? Well, I had a horrible lunch time today because the Capri Sun drink was in a can and we have no recycle bins in the lunch room, so I had to throw it away! Isn't that awful..."
And you thought you had a bad day.
