We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Dougherty family. We bought the PS2 game "Singstar" (like Karoake) as entertainment for the kids to play together and then when it turned out to be really fun for everyone, we found ourselves running to the store at 8:45pm on Wednesday night to buy the 80's game version. Most of Thanksgiving morning, the Smiths battled the Doughertys at all of our favorite 80's music. I think at one point the kids asked, "Can we play now?" and we sent them down to the park together so we could finish out our game (so that makes us either really lame or very fun parents - you decide). Evan Dougherty started his hockey tournament early Friday morning - about the same time I was headed out for Black Friday madness at Target. Brady had a basketball tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend as well.
Here's a few pictures of our Thanksgiving activities:
Jen's playing 2 players at once on the SingStar game microphones - she's talented.
Brady's rockin' out on Guitar Hero
Abby and Evan had a lot of fun playing with Nora. Their new baby brother is going to have some great babysitters.
Uncle Mitch is showing Brady how it's really done on Guitar Hero.
Daddy and his girls hangin' out together.
