Pray for Noni (originally posted on 2/17/07)

As some of you know, Noni has had quite a rough winter with picking up sickness easily and often. She has already had 3 episodes of pink eye, so when she awoke this morning looking like a bee had stung her, we thought it must be another more aggravated case of pink eye and called for a doctor's appointment right away. Unfortunately, the situation is much worse and required her getting a shot of antibiotics immediately in the doctor's office along with the potential that she may need to be in the hospital to treat this serious eye infection that is not related to conjunctivitis at all. Apparently if not treated quickly and aggressively, the infection under her eye lid will spread in her body and cause many more problems. As of this evening, she looks worse, but is in much better spirits so we are hopeful that she will not have to be hospitalized. She has a follow-up appointment with the same doctor first thing tomorrow morning. Would you please keep her in your prayers this weekend? We'll try to post an update on her progress when we have some news.
