Avery might not be as ready as Brady; she's looking a little nervous. 
Avery and her friend Carrie from our neighborhood. They will be walking together this year to/from school, but are not in the same class. 
We get a smile of relief from Avery when she realizes that her good friend Rebecca has the same teacher as she does!
Brady's got no worries on his first day (he's saving all his worries for later when the hour or more of daily homework starts heading home with him!).
